We value positive relationships with parents and carers to help develop better social and emotional skills in children. We know that when children are engaged with their learning, they attend school more regularly, leading to better long term outcomes.
For parenting and counselling services, visit the Family Support page, and for direction and clarity on regulations, processes and procedures at our school, read the Sydney Catholic School policies.
At St Felix Catholic Primary School Bankstown we recognise that parents/carers are the first educators of their children. We encourage a productive partnership with our parents/carers to ensure the best possible outcome for your children.
We welcome parental involvement in our school. Parents/carers may assist in the classroom, on excursions and at special events. All parent/carer helpers are required to complete a Volunteers Declaration Form.
School Hours
It is very important for your child’s learning that they arrive at school on time. Students are required to be at school by 8.40am. Students who arrive after 8:50am are required to sign in at the School Office before proceeding to their class. Classes finish at 2.40pm for all students. Students who need to leave before this time must be signed out in the School Office by an adult.
Before and After School Care
The Before and After School Care program at St Felix Catholic Primary School is unique and tailored to the educational ethos and values of our school and the individual needs of the children in the service. In every before and after school session, the coordinator designs a featured activity to engage the children. For more information on fees, session times and the map of your service, click here.
